Fiart Mare introduces innovative Capi2 distributed power system
Nuenen (October 2009) – Capi2 Nederland BV, manufacturer of the revolutionary Capi2 distributed power system for yachts and power boats, is pleased to announce the first Capi2 installation in the recently launched 4tFOUR Genius produced by Fiart Mare S.P.A.
“We are extremely pleased with their decision to install Capi2 in their boats,” says Tijmen Harberink, Operational Manager at Capi2 Nederland BV. “Fiart Mare is known to be an early adopter of new technologies like Capi2. For example, the first fibreglass boat ever to be produced in Europe was manufactured in the Fiart Mare yard.”
Michele Illiano, Production Manager at Fiart Mare, stresses how excited Fiart was to install Capi2 in the latest top model 4tFOUR genius. “We chose Capi2 mainly because our objective was to have an electrical wiring system that is easy to install and easy to maintain. Capi2 allows us to achieve this objective, together with a new generation of boat-integrated control systems, enabling us to offer our clients a very easy-to-manage boat featuring the most advanced technology available.”
Fiat Mare S.P.A. produces a fleet of boats ranging from 23 to 50 feet. The company boasts a 50,000 m2 boatyard with 9 factory units, more than 120 employees and 45 years of experience producing 140 different models. The company produces around 150 boats annually, has its own slipway and an extremely well–equipped servicing department. The focus is always on the consumer’s needs and requirements, which form the basis for every strategic decision. Fiart Mare is one of the largest shipbuilding yards in Europe.
