Worldwide warranty
The terms and conditions of the Capi2 warranty do not infringe on the customer’s legal rights. In order to be sure that the equipment operates properly, we recommend that you read the installation and user manual carefully. Pay special attention to safety and operation.
Validation of the warranty
In order for the warranty to be valid, you must fill in the warranty registration within 5 working days and submit it by post or e-mail to Capi2. Download the warrant registration form (pdf) here.
Product warranty:
Capi2 warrants the materials and workmanship of each new product for a period of 12 months from delivery to end user, or 18 months from the date of shipment, whichever expires first. During the warranty period, Capi2 or its agent will repair or exchange any parts that have proven to be defective in materials or workmanship.
The warranty covers parts and labor for any warranty repair described as above. The parts must be returned to Capi2 or its agent at the owner’s own expense.
Obtaining warranty service
Contact a Capi2 agent or Capi2 to request warranty service.
A proof of purchase showing the date of purchase, place of purchase and serial number must be provided with the warranty request.
Subject to certain limitations (see Limitations), the part will be repaired/replaced and returned to the customer at no cost.
Limitations
This warranty does not cover equipment that has been subjected to damage, abuse, shipping damage, corrosion or unauthorized service, or if serial numbers have been altered or removed.
The Capi2 warranty does not cover any routine check-ups, sea trials etc.
The Capi2 warranty does not cover any damage caused to/by any other equipment.
The Capi2 warranty does not cover any differences in material between what is available and what is displayed on the Internet or in documentation.
Any reimbursement of travel costs and time spent beyond what falls under this warranty must have prior written approval.
Where applicable under state and federal law: Capi2 shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or special damages.
This warranty is strictly limited to the terms indicated herein, and no other warranties shall be binding on Capi2, including without exception any warranties provided by the merchant.
